Yes its been a slow few days around here, so I thought I'd break the lull with some details on the new Windows Live Account site.
Account Services is an existing Passport site but as Kip mentioned in his post on Windows Live Answers, we're expecting to see it develop substantially as it switches to Windows Live. Micropayments (Live Wallet) and rewards integration (Live Points) are two of the main contenders, managing your multiple personalities with Live ID is another.
As with the existing MSN Account Services site, child protection plays an important part. Family Safety Settings makes an appearance, and as has been noted before, will provide a way for parents to monitor their children's Windows Live experience by controlling who they can contact via Messenger, Mail and Spaces.
Special credit goes to Trevin for his work on the existing password strength meter ;-)
