We've just finished the first session this morning at MSN's Strategic Account Summit, here's a summary of what we saw: – MSN's AdCenter is being extended to cover Microsoft as a whole, giving advertisers access to services such as Xbox.com, Windows Live, Office Live and Microsoft TV. – Microsoft demoed a video hyperlink prototype, whereby users can find out more information on the products available in the content and be taken direct to the manufactures site in order to get more information. The importance of extending advertising within content is a significant development, with the audience here seeming impressed by what they saw. – Yusuf Medhi also announced Microsoft's intention to launch a contextual advertising pilot this summer. Yes someone from Google is here ;-) Pictures (and video) coming soon.
