Gus Pinto, the creator of the Windows Live Custom Domains Manager tool just sent me an email about an update to the product. For those unsure about what Custom Domains is, this service lets you use all the Windows Live services but with an email address at your own domain, eg [email protected] The Custom Domains manager lets you control your domain from your desktop, as opposed to using the web-based interface Microsoft provides.
I just wanted to let you know, that I updated the Windows Live Custom Domains Manager tool. First of all thanks for publishing the original article about WLCD Manager on LiveSide. Also I have received nearly 400 emails of people just sending me feedback on it, and the vast majority came back positive. In fact 40% percent of the emails I got were from people that wish I added a new feature to the tool. They wanted the ability to "Switch logged in Users" or "Log Off" to log in with a different user account. I implemented this new feature and published on the website as build 1.1, however it seems that a lot of people bookmarked the download link for 1.0, which download numbers continues to grow by an average of 200 downloads everyday. Can you help me disseminate the fact that there's a new build of the application?
