Silly marketing, con’t: Live Search club

Here’s a new site where you can win prizes for playing (pretty easy) games; Live Search Club.

In a funny coincidence, I saw this on Venkat Narayanan’s blog.  Venkat was one of the (three) original members of the team, along with Steve Rider and Sanaz Ahari.

Actually, this seems to be more like the beginning of Microsoft’s online strategy. Maybe this is Microsoft trying out the “use our services and get points for our premium services” kind of thing. Right now it may not seem like it, but it certainly does not look like just a marketing campaign to me.

What a surprise, its US only…:(

Albert, interesting idea and one that ties into the enterprise strategy of credits for Microsoft software.

I tried out that Flexicon game… I suck at it, even with the help of Live Search.

I’m addicted to the crossword game.

I’m gonna try and get Vista Ultimate for my mom’s computer since I already have it.

Wow the games are really hard. I don’t understand them at all. Also it’s US only for the rewards, so forget it. I’m not gonna bother now lol.
