I was hoping that a new release was happening… maybe even seeing the new Calendar. I guess not.. :(

translucent? They had a problem and they acknowledged it. Nothing special. If Xbox Live has an outage do you not think Major Nelson or someone would acknowledge it and mention they were working on it?

That isn’t translucency. That is customer service. The Xbox team (and I’d put Zune in this category) are renowned for their lack of translucency. But since they are kicking butt…nobody really minds. :)
