Yeah, at this moment sites that I have noticed many sites that didn’t render properly. Also at this time Office Workspaces and Windows Update(only XP users need be concerned) don’t work. They do, however, work most nicely in IE7 Emulate mode, so no worries on that.

Its because of IE8′s standard thingummy. Microsoft is trying for once to encourage innovation rather than stifle it. Not even live search renders properly.

IE8 standards mode is bad. You should see Wikipedia! It doesn’t even pass Acid2! They lied!

acid 2 does work i tried it myself
but allot of sites will have to bee redone(allmost every windows live site)
but the good thing is that if people complain that if it broke their favorite sites, they can blaim it on someone else than microsoft for a change, they always get the blaim
back to IE8 : some new, original and interesting things,but not the things that a browser needs(spell checker, downloads manager,…)

I couldn’t help but notice that “Activities” is very similar to the ‘instant info’ copy button with the Windows Live Toolbar.
