Virtual Earth Bird’s Eye for Australia and Canada
May 1, 2008 6:15 pm by John OBrien | 3 comments
Today Microsoft launched their Oblique images called Bird’s Eye for Australia and Canada. This was part of a 22 TB update for April, full details can be found here. There are some amazing images to be seen.
Four major centres have been added for Australia: the Sydney CBD, Hobart, the Gold Coast and Wollongong.
For Canada six cities now appear: Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Victoria, Edmonton and Vancouver.
I recommend changing over to 3D mode for easy navigation between images. It all can be found at http://maps.live.com
