The first content announcements for PDC 2008 have just been made, with Ray Ozzie unsurprisingly keynoting this event. Running from 27-30 October in LA, PDC provides a whole range of developer sessions and announcements.
Although the various sessions are still somewhat vague, I picked out the following:
- Developing and Deploying Your First Cloud Service (Mesh SDK)
- Live Platform: Building Mesh Applications
- Live Platform: Mesh Services Architecture Deep Dive
- Live Platform: New Developer Services and APIS:
Then there are a number of other sessions on Silverlight, Windows Mobile and of course Windows 7. We’ve heard this will be the event where attendees get their hands on the first public build, providing yet another incentive to attend! Then there is also the expanding of Live Mesh into a public preview, as well as the availability of the Live Mesh SDK.
Registration is now open, with $200 off the regular ticket price as an early-bird discount. Check out http://www.microsoftpdc.com/
