Virtual Earth has a new Lead for Australia, Peter Ulm.
Peter Ulm has been with Microsoft for over a decade, most recently as the strategic account manager for one of Microsoft Australia’s largest accounts. He previously worked in sales and marketing at Dow Jones.
“With our rapid expansion and ongoing investments in innovation driven by customer feedback, our Virtual Earth platform becomes an even more powerful tool, providing a wide variety of applications,” said Harvey Sanchez, online services strategy manager at Microsoft.
“We are delighted that Peter has accepted this role as he brings a wealth of experience in and passion for helping our partners and customers realise the commercial impact of good business intelligence.”
Besides appointing a new Lead for Australia,14.3 TB of new imagery got released for Microsoft Virtual Earth. New imagery has been added for the United States, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. New Bird’s Eye imagery became available for North America and various countries in Europe.
