Windows Live Translator adds Polish

Windows Live Translator gained yet another language, Polish this time. This brings the total amount of languages to 14, namely; Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

The website, the IE Accelerator, the Windows Live Toolbar and TBot, all of them can translate from/to each of these languages.

    Windows Live Translator can it bee used windows live video messager if it can how do you do this i tried this has any body out did this yet.

    LOL. I didn’t read the headline closely enough. At first glance, I thought it meant that the WL Translator interface had received a “polish”…as in the upgraded wave 3 design. This must be an exciting day for Polish people everywhere.

    joeale: I don’t know how you envision that. It translates text, not audio. Or isn’t that what you are asking?

    @gregsedwards…haha, I read the “polish” initially also..oh well. Although it does raise an interesting point, as to why the translator site does not have the Wav3 header, is it really that difficult to implement?

    Sunshine i have video and audeo messages in Italian i still can not translate.

    joeale: unless you find something that converts the audio in them to text you can’t translate it with Windows Live Translator. As soon as you have text you can put it into the Windows Live Translator Website (or in a convo with TBot).

    Adam: No idea. They will add more languages over time so who knows. We’ll keep an eye out.
