Snow Leopard: Twitterverse abuzz with latest Live Search image

To be honest, when I saw the latest Live Search home page image this morning, my only thought was “what a beautiful animal”.

Well apparently Snow Leopard means a little something to more than just the Girl Scouts of Kyrgyzstan (who knew? ;) ).  But after Gizmodo asked the question “Why is there a Snow Leopard on Live Search? just wondering”, Twitter is all abuzz.  Now we’re wondering if today’s image is a sly wink at Apple, just a coincidence, or if the Live Search folks in Redmond really pay more attention to the fauna of SE Asia than they do to bug fixing OS releases from Cupertino.

    I wonder if it would receive an equal amount of attention if Apple had the number 7 mentioned on their front-page some day. Keep in mind, live.com not = microsoft.com
