Speaking Bing’s language: New Microsoft Translator session at Mix10

Looks like it’s time to pay closer attention to the sessions being added for Mix 10 in March.  In addition to some promised upcoming sessions for “the next generation of Windows Phone”, we just noticed a new session placeholder:

mixtranslator

Entitled “Do You Speak My Language? Placeholder for Microsoft Translator Session”, and hosted by our friends Dr. Neil Roodyn (who’s done a lot of work with Bing Maps, Silverlight, and more recently, Surface), and Vikram Dendi from Microsoft Translator, the session promises to “dive into  key new technologies from Microsoft Translator…being announced at Mix10”.

Looks like another good reason to start getting excited about Mix10!

Sounds very interesting – how can we get more details about it?

We’ll have more from Mix about Translator, but doubt there will be much news before then – but by the way if you use translator now, are you seeing better translations?
