Steve Ballmer takes the wraps off Wave 4, in Brazil!

Today in a speech to students at the Universidade de Sao Paulo in Brazil, Microsoft CEO is publically showing Windows Live Wave 4 for the first time.  Luckily we already know about much of what is being shown, but it’s great to get it out in the open, and hopefully we’ll all be able to get our hands on Wave 4 soon.  We’ll have a link to the on-demand of Steve Ballmer’s talk as soon as it goes live, unfortunately it’s not being streamed live.

In the meantime, here’s a video demo by Dharmesh Mehta (hey that’s Harrison’s new boss!)

You can read more about Wave 4 at Microsoft Press Center, and the preview at www.windowslivepreview.com should be live soon, if it isn’t already.

Also Piero Sierra has a post up on the Inside Windows Live blog with lots of information.

I wouldn’t get your hope up, most rumors are suspecting a limited beta May 18 and public beta June 7.

The videos on the site had a huge ad underneath the chat box on Windows Live Messenger. Seriously, that better be just testing. If that is there normaly I will be angry.
