Looks like the Zune guys slipped in a little bonus with the updated Zune 4.7 software, along with the more obvious links to the Windows Phone 7 MarketPlace: now you can easily get to Windows Live Photo Gallery to edit photos you are viewing in the Zune software:

Just hover over an image, click on the pencil icon and Zune will open up Windows Live Photo Gallery with the photo you clicked on opened up for editing.  Maybe a little touch, but good to see Zune and Windows Live playing nice together!
