At today’s “Microsoft Big Picture” event in Melbourne, Australia, Microsoft apparently announced that Lync, Microsoft’s corporate instant messaging client, will be coming to Windows Phone, Android, Blackberry, and “iDevices” within the next 4 weeks.

The news was tweeted out by Big Picture attendee Garry Holden, and then confirmed by the official Microsoft Australia Twitter account:

Lync for Windows Phone via Mango was first announced last May, but the app hasn’t as yet shown up.
