According to Microsoft, some fresh Windows Phone enterprise features are on their way to bring the platform back from the brink. In what is a surprise to most, it seems that Microsoft has been quietly working on some brand new features on the mobile front, which is good news even if we’re not exactly sure what features to expect. The enterprise focus is no surprise, as the enterprise has become Microsoft’s priority these days, so it makes sense that mobile businesses will be heading in this direction.

Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc posted on his Twitter account that “The team is working on delivering some features for enterprise customers later this summer.

Rumors say that the Surface Phone will mostly focus on enterprises

This device is the thing that comes first in our minds given the fact that Microsoft keeps saying its commitment to the mobile platform is not dead. Considering this, current rumors that the Surface Pro will mostly focus on enterprises may be true. Microsoft is rumored to reveal more versions of the Surface Phone and one of them is targeted at enterprises.

We’ll see whether the consumer market remains or not a priority for the company as well. We just have to wait until this fall for Windows 10 Mobile to come as Redstone 3, even if improvements in the mobile zone might not be groundbreaking.
