Xbox and the future of Microsoft at E3

I’m here in line to get in to the “exclusive” Xbox press event at the 17000 seat Galen Center on USC’s campus, where we’ll all soon hear about Microsoft’s plans for Xbox, and for their very lives as they plot out the future of Xbox, what was once Zune, and the coming of windows 8.

We’ll have more news and analysis after the event, which is being livecast on Spike TV, Xbox.com, and on Xbox Live.

What are you expecting? Did Microsoft deliver? And how important is this day to Microsoft’s future plans? Let us know in the comments.

its fairly important… i would think. A solid cross -”windows” platform in regards to gaming/ video/ music would do well to help polish up and make a unified ecosystem when pitching windows 8 in the coming months. I’m hoping they have a more streamlined UI/kinect integration and improved voice commands. Its good now..but definately could use more refining. If they throw in more natural speak for voice commands… it would definately take the wind of out apple’s siri announcement (whatever that may be) later in the year.
