The wait is over: Nokia Lumia 928 announced for Verizon Wireless

NokiaIt has been rumored since the beginning of the year, and we have been teased since the start of the week, and but today Nokia and Verizon Wireless has finally announced the Nokia Lumia 928, bringing the device with PureView camera to the biggest carrier in the US. As previously rumored, the Nokia Lumia 928 will come with a 4.5 inch OLED display, 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with OIS and Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon flash, as well as wireless charging. The Lumia 928 also includes three HAAC (High Audio Amplitude Capture) microphones that can record sound up to 140db without distortion.

The Nokia Lumia 928 will go on sale starting May 16 on Verizon Wireless stores for only USD99.99 (with two year contract) following a $50 mail-in rebate. Customers who purchases the device will also receive a $25 credit for the Windows Phone Store.
