Office Live Interview with Baris Cetinok

Office Live is set to come out of beta on Wed. Nov 15, and at the same time launch into beta in four new markets, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan.  The set of services, aimed at very small businesses (VSB), offers free custom domains, domain name Office Live Mail and Windows Live Messenger accounts, and a tiered set of services, from the free Office Live Basics, to Office Live Essentials ($19.95/mo) and Office Live Premium ($39.95/mo).

The new launch introduces some new services - an AdManager beta that initially features Microsoft adCenter and Live Search ads but will be expanded to include other search engines and business directories in the next 6-12 months, a new online Business Contact Manager with browser access from anywhere or a full offline component using Microsoft Office 2007, and, with MS Office Accounting Express 2007, product sales management through eBay.  Again, this service is due to be expanded in 6-12 months to include other sales venues such as Shopping.com, Craig's List, Windows Live Expo, and sales through Office Live websites.

I spoke to Baris Cetinok, Director of Project Management and Marketing for Office Live, about the new release.  We covered a lot of ground in a short time, and Baris is a fun guy to listen to.  Enjoy!

I found interesting very But I find that the staff of the LiveSide could place the people of the LiveSide who postam here to make questions to the interviewed ones. I find that it would be more interesting, thus could make a bigger interview and with questions chosen of users of the site

Hey bf, getting questions from the readers is definitely something that we would like to do, the only problem is that a lot of the time, these interviews are put together at the last minute.  If they're pre-planned, more often than not they are about things that we cannot publically talk about yet, so asking for questions on the subject would be out.  We will definitely try to get feedback from you guys on what questions you want us to ask in interviews that we know about ahead of time.

As Harrison says, a lot of the time the interviews are organised around upcoming releases or new features, and sometimes at short notice. If we can get reader feedback we'll try and make sure this happens.

I find this wonderful one But if to launch a Office simple Live beginner's all-purpose symbolic instruction code better goes to be alone with Word, Excel and Power Point and with access for the Live Mail. Ai would be a good one also, but the Microsoft does not have to make thus. Because it would be a good one for who only wants to have the Word and Excel in any place where has access net. On spammer them, I find that the form would have to be improved that the people denounce spammers.
