Windows Live Photo Gallery gets new OEM partners, Sync integration, and more

Windows Live Photo Gallery from the Windows Live Essentials suite is getting some upgrades in the upcoming “Release Candidate” release too. Besides the many bug fixes (including the wlcomm.exe crash and 100% CPU usage bug ), we also found out from Brian Hall’s interview that Windows Live Sync (FolderShare) will come installed along with Windows Live Photo Gallery to sync your photo albums across multiple PCs, as long as you sign in with the same Windows Live ID on more than one computer: Perhaps more good news for Microsoft’s Windows Live push is that HP had recently signed up to include Windows

A Windows Live launch party

Just checked my various Hotmail inboxes to find an invitation to a launch party:

...looks like Windows Live Hotmail will be out of beta soon :)

It's really sad MSN Premium members like myself don't get to experience this kind of excitement first hand...and we pay for our services! Well, I guess all we can do is wish you guys fun at the party...[begins to tear]. Have fun! Lol.

I didn't get that email and I was in the beta since it was codename 'Kahuna'. Hope I get the email soon.

It seems to be a US only email which is why you might not have received one.

Don't worry, Chris more than made up for it :).  At times, being a beta tester is a thankless job, but perhaps being able to shape a product and little things like this makes is better.

Checked my hotmail account (additional one I've had for Office Live), and guess what...I got the "invitation" there! Well, being in the US, I kind of actually feel like other countries get more promotional stuff. We really don't get any kind of marketing ANYWHERE here in the US...could it be all of the regulations and more expensive costs? But I do understand how some offers/betas are US only...
