Using Live Maps Collections, or VE Map Controls, images such as these can now be rendered in TrueSpace, and added to Live Maps or Virtual Earth.  We wrote earlier this month about 3D and how it might play out for Microsoft.  The release of TrueSpace 7.6 would seem to be one more step in the direction of an immersive 3D environment coming from Microsoft.
