Hello all.. Since everyone is giving there feedback I thought I would put my hat in the pot.

I have also created a mock up of the site.. it is not quite done but hey I still put it out there.

BTW.. I'm glad you guys like the Logo I made for Liveside.

It definitely needs a lot of work... the overall design is too... simple, in my opinion. If the header would more resemble Windows Live Spaces' look it would look better, I think.

I suggest moving the navigation (Home, Interviews, etc etc) to the top, under that the LiveSide-logo (without the awful looking beta-tag) on the left hand side and the profile-options (nickname, edit profile, sign out, help, inbox) and the searchbox on the right hand side. The entire site could use some more colours, the frontpage looks very cold because of all the white...

I like the new navigation bar better as well, only thing that might make it look better is to glass effect it somehow and give it a look like Aero Glass.

Also the site is very white, can't we have a colour or a background or something ?

As for marksuth's mock up thats quite nice, especially if you glass the navigation bar.

Just my 2c.

I also like the old one better. I think this one is just too plain and boring. I agree with the comment about it looking like the late '90s instead of 2007. EDIT: nix the comment about coming up with a design. I just saw the one that was posted, and I think it looks AWESOME!

WOW! (Windows Vista Marketing...lol). I just saw that PNG; way, way much better. It reminded me of Windows XP's beta screenshots (wave 3 beta site design) from a long time ago compared to Windows Vista today (new PNG design).

Wow, that new navigation actually makes me feel like we're in the 21st century...lol, sorry I just thought that the "new" one was really plain. Besides that, I agree with Zack's list; sums up practically everything.

I love the new this navigation, it's much better and looks more like "Wave 3" then the current one. Please use it!

In my opinion, there is way too much blank (white space), up the top. It looks very empty, in comparison to the old theme which filled the blank space nicely, and worked together well. The top of the page kind of reminds me of a blank page with a picture added!

<---Along with the bar down the left hand side of the page, it seems empty, and not very interesting really.

Good work overall though, I'm liking the way this is coming out. I don't mean to criticize!
