I don't care for POP3; it is so yesterday. What i'm more interested in is if/when they finally offer SSL for the web apps. It is absurd, that on the one hand, Microsoft's web forms say not to enter any personal data, because the connection is insecure and on the other hand offering a suite of web apps that do exactly that...

In Germany it works. It's promoted on two spaces already: windowsliveblog.spaces.live.com/.../cns!720E46AE746458F7!3903.entry and hotmailpower.spaces.live.com/.../cns!6FEBCAD894536D1!2482.entry.

On a side note, it seems like MSN Premium members now start off with 500GB storage space. That's what Outlook is reporting and it was always right before the "unlimited" storage launched, when we were at...5GB?

Yep, working just peachy in Australia; a post at the MacTalk AU forums has the server details if you'd like to try on with any POP3 client; forums.mactalk.com.au/.../65268-mail-now-gets-my-old-hotmail-via-pop3-no-plugin-required.html
