Kip, as we were reviewing the post-launch stats this week, we realized that we gave you an inaccurate number for daily number of photos uploaded. Since we discovered this, I wanted to make sure I contacted you immediately to make sure you have the right information. I’m sorry that this happened but we are putting processes in place to ensure that we will communicate information accurately to you in the future. The actual number of photos uploaded per day worldwide is 8 million. All of the other numbers quoted in the article though are still correct.

Now myspace is crap, I'll give it that - but it's popular... Why would someone use spaces when all their friends are on myspace?

Microsoft needs to work out a way to target this market.

I'd expect it to be slow when they are releasing a whole slew of features to 93 Million spaces. They will probably fix that up when they figure out what's going on. You always have to be patient when new releases come out.

As for the features, sounds great to me. But I'm still waiting for the day when they have proper commenting on blogs and photos. If someone comments on my space I have no idea that they commented unless I look at the comments area. But that's only for blog comments.

And then if I want to reply to their comment I can't. I have to make a whole new comment myself and they will have no clue that I replied unless they come back and look.

They NEED a proper comment system like Livejournal has. It's a newsgroup style of commenting that allows you to have e-mail's sent to you when someone replies to one of your comments or blog entries. Was EXTREMELY useful.

These New Gimicks, Er... "Features" Are ALL Fine & Dandy But, Do They Work?

...& How LONG Does It Take To Load?

I Find That, Overall, Microsoft Destinations On The Web To Be The "SLOWEST" (Relative Net Speed) ...Loading of ALL! :-(

I was just about to say something about this because I just began to work on a post on my Space when I began to notice all of these very cool features. Already, I feel like it's so much more customizable; these are really great improvements!
