Windows Live Photo Gallery from the Windows Live Essentials suite is getting some upgrades in the upcoming “Release Candidate” release too. Free Zune? You Must Be Joking...?

Well, I'm not, so there smile_tongue. It appears that MSN are giving away a Zune in a sweepstakes over at http://homepage.msn.com/zune. So what do you have to do to be eligible for Microsoft's MP3 player? Set your Internet Explorer homepage to be www.msn.com, as easy as that.

Be quick though, this promotion is only open until 11:59 p.m. (Pacifict Time) on February 28, 2007. Unfortunately this is for US residents only.

So if you've been looking at the Zune, thinking "do I get one", then have a go, you might get lucky.

This is an MSN.com effort to increase DHP share.  If this was an MSN.ca, or MSN.co.uk promotion...I wouldn't expect those prizes from that to be shipped to the US.  Would you?

There's also the fact that Zunes aren't available for retail outside of the US yet. Getting as bad as Sony! ;)
