Windows Live Calendar and Events sightings, coming soon?

Our friend PicturePan2 just noticed something interesting over at home.live.com, newly added icons for Windows Live Calendar, and what we assume is Windows Live Events:

homedotlive Cal and Events

(you won't see these unless you are signed out of home.live.com)

The new icons, a calendar page and a calendar with balloons (nice!), seem to give more evidence that Calendar and Events are coming soon.  We can't wait!

PS: There's also a few g-links running around too, similar to the ones in the Hotmail and Spaces headings. Check out http://g.live.com/9uxp9en-us/hpg_hdr10 (Error - Events can't be found)

I remember seeing these sometime in the last week or the week before and also noticed the messenger icon, the "Messenger" link and the text "... instant messages" under the Hotmail heading which indicates Windows Live Web Messenger as well

@Jamie

OneCare is still there on mine, along with the Windows Live Calendar & Windows Live Event references.

Weird. Onecare has reappeared again.

Trust me. It wasn't there earlier :)

Thanks for the info however zack

I can't wait to try out Live Calendar...although, I feel like they should just buy 30boxes.com :)

I think that WL Calendar will have the ending number of 4, but that's just my theory because it's the missing number in the top box of links.

Hey.. an off topic question... when is everyone going to get the new UI for Live Mail? I still don't seeit :(    I have a separate account and I see it there.. but on my main account, I do not. :(

@thaman04

I have exactly the same problem I have a Windows Live Plus account on bay20 and it still is on 4GB, all my other accounts have now been upgraded, and a few are on higher bay numbers so unsure why I haven't. I was thinking its either because I am Windows Live Plus and they haven't rolled them out yet or it is because I am a @live.co.uk email and they haven't upgraded them... not sure why, would be great to find out why though

Yep, it's been over 2 weeks now and none of my accounts hosted on bays117 and 134 have been upgraded to the latest rev.  Not sure why it's taking so long to upgrade ... The migration seems to just have stopped.

Yup one of my high numbered bays got updated yesteday too. It's definitely coming, there's just a slow rollout process now that they are moving users from MSN Hotmail to Windows Live Hotmail.
