The latest search share numbers are in from Compete.com, showing no significant changes, although Live Search is trending slightly upward, and actually showed some gains in volume of searches.

MSN/Live continued the good fight in December and actually outpaced Google with respect to percentage gains in volume. Year-over-year, MSN/Live total search volume was up nearly 40%.
