Ray Ozzie opens up: our informal meetup with Microsoft’s Chief Software Architect

After today’s keynote, LiveSide, along with a small group of bloggers including Jeff Atwood of Coding Horror, Steve Gillmor of TechCrunchIT, Long Zheng, and some others that unfortunately I missed getting their names, were lucky enough to be invited to sit in with Ray Ozzie, Bob Muglia, and Amitabh Srivastava, and talk a bit about today’s news and the future of software + services.  We went around the room and introduced ourselves, and Jeff Atwood mentioned his new site, www.stackoverflow.com, and Ray Ozzie got all excited and really complimented Jeff on his good work on that site.  A bit later I mentioned Ozzie’s excitement, and asked him what excited him about today’s events:

Steve Gillmor has more on TechCrunchIT, shot on his iPhone running Qik, a la Robert Scoble.
