This is the third time we’ve had a chance to talk with David Treadwell, Corporate Vice President for Live Platform Services. We’ll be talking a lot more in depth about Live Mesh coming up, but we appreciate the opportunity to take a bit higher view of the platform. We talked to Treadwell about getting to this point, how Live Services will begin to interact with the other services in the Azure platform, and the relationship of Windows Live to Live Mesh:

Yet another PDC announcement, and this one is from the Windows Live ID team. They’ve just opened up a Live ID test bed for those developers who want to start playing with Open ID integration. See for yourself.

Note this is for testing only, and isn’t a full release of OpenID support in Windows Live ID.
