I'm not happy with the new interface but I am happy they moved the empty button. I'll say the Live Messenger intergration is a great idea but just leaving my Live Messanger on all the time, I got tons of random IMs. They should upgrade their filter system so I won't be bothered by sometype of bot while I am in my Hotmail for possibly hours at a time.

I would love to see Outlook, Hotmail, and Windows Mobile have a tighter intergration like the way these Live Services are going.

Anyone know if the integrated chat with hotmail will feature AIM, Yahoo chat, Google talk, or Facebook chat?

on the wishlist for hotmail i would not say no to that webchat log suggestion above but also maybe the (Yahoo) disposable addresses system choosenbasename.choice*at*yahoo.com/co.uk (modern yahoo mail users will know what i mean - only thing that keeps me on Yahoo Mail and Google its that Google Labs stuff! (with some very good lab extras public betered of course). OpenID in 2009 will be a big welcome but i do wish OpenID get LiveID 'advice' with linking up Ids that is so that OpenIDs can link with each other with people having google accounts, blogger, aol, yahoo, windows live and myspace and the other provider accounts they can have loads of openIDs! (maybe version 2.5 or 3+ of OpenId API?)

POP support for email in Hotmail - don't they have the 'IMAP' (Updated for Windows Live Mail *app* / Office connector thing?) POP (25 &110) i feel will get Hotmail interfered with my ISP (thanks CPW AOL) but these PC Email Applications not my cup of tea

SkyDrive & Hotmail storage - good :)

and Facebook Feed whoops aka 'Whats New' ;) - they doing a Facebook news feed here with the importing here. FriendFeed and Facebook aint going to enjoy this but Windows Live Facebook could in time be on the cards anyways! therefore this People and home page will need a new wave then ;)

Groups 17/11 (Mon) and there also hope Spaces gets refreshed!
