Surprised it did not go sooner (although it had if not thanks to Nokia),

I think a safe bet Zune will be this new service. hopefully it go up against Itunes and media/music sold will work on all MP3 players in wma and mp3 none DRM, with the web service unlike the Itunes store will be accessable to those who do not want to be locked to an Media Player!

The german MSN Music Store will close, too. Probably this is the souce of the german newsletter.
