Premium product/brand can&amp;#39;t be much of an effective selling point during these times and Microsoft is loudly touting that. Also, with Apple&amp;#39;s recent marketing push, cost was completely ignored and they&amp;#39;re not (yet) ready to fight-and-win with that marker (instead the usual virus and performance angle, which I personally think is much more worn out). It also seems like Microsoft is only trying to communicate with all of its expansive demographic bases, and maybe the set of ads are explicitly shown on specific networks and times. But I do agree that one or two more and the Windows marketing needs to be completely revamped and strenghtened now that Apple is prepared to rebut.&lt;/p&gt;

The details don&amp;#39;t add up, and the motion seems staged. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Seriously, they should start getting people from the community. I&amp;#39;ll do it for the cost of the budget they want to give me. :P&lt;/p&gt;
