@empirestatebuddy I think there would need to be a drop off in the competitors as well. Even though there would less queries being done to get the same results, it would also mean that less queries were being made at Bing's competitors.

To back you up some though, I use Bing about 90% of the time because it only takes 1 or 2 tries to get what I want rather than the 5 or 6 it was taking me at Google. I still have better luck searching for exact phrases with Google though.

Well, if Bing actually finds results faster (as Microsoft claims), then it makes sense that Bing users would make less queries. They're finding what they want on the first one. ;)

Or perhaps Bing users make less queries? I doubt it, but it would be an interesting theory.
