Though I do agree MSN is an 'old' brand, it still spells out "content" in peoples minds. Bing is cool now, but I want it to be separate from Window Live incase things change in the future.

MSN is for programmed Internet content (news/business/sports/etc.). Windows Live is for communications and social networking and bing is for web search. Three separate entities for three separate types of Internet services.

There are just too many different web properties for Microsoft... especially now with Bing. Personally, I'd like to see all of them incorporated into Bing... sort of how Google does it--email, news, storage... all in one place.
