As for IE7 v Firefox 2, they both have bugs, its just a matter of which one you prefer to use. Ed Bott has a great review of both at http://blogs.zdnet.com/Bott/?p=109 - give it a read.

I use Firefox 2, which has very few bugs, and is alot smoother and easier to use. Internet Explorer has alot of bugs and holes in it which can cause viruses and other nasties to surface.

Isnt this rebrand just more adware??

There wasn't any need to put a picture of part of a girl's face with the sun in the background. A simple big download button, and maybe a video tour was all they should have there.
