It seems to be using Windows Live Messenger, with the "IM Me" links as the regular html you can use to start a conversation;

Funny thing is that yes it's search engine it powered by Yahoo, but it's uses ads from Google and the database is powered by Oracle so does that mean it may use Microsoft AdCenter, Microsoft SQL Server and maybe MSN Soapbox? ;)
