Well I think it's not too bad, but in my opinion it's a way to complicated design for a web portal.

For UK users (maybe other countries?), if you click on "Spaces" on the new MSN UK portal, it comes up with "MSN" as one of the buttons in the Windows Live header (alongside "Home", "Hotmail" and "Spaces").

Thort it was worth mentioning.

MSN.com also seems to be working on some minor visual updates to the header: (albertceo.spaces.live.com/.../cns!3A485499112E425D!1012.entry)

While the new look is better than the old, it still needs a lot of work.

The way it's implemented on the NineMSN site is awesome. It's visually pleasing, and offers lots of good content.

The new MSN UK site however, isn't so nice. Where NineMSN is more simple (maybe lack of content?) and pretty, MSN UK is cluttered with article links (just like the American version) and they still kept the ugly modular boxes and search areas.

It's kind of a disappointment. The MSN UK Spaces blog, has had users complain about the clutter and all that.

MSN should have taken the NineMSN route. That's way better.

I love everything about the new look. I was hoping they would bring a more 'ninemsn' look to the whole of the Worldwide MSN sites. Not just to make it consistent, but because it looks beautiful.

Although, has anybody else noticed the really old envelope image in the sidebar of the new page, still being used!? This really bugs me! Why can't they use a new envelope image outta WL Hotmail or something similar?? The other one is really old and doesn't go with the feel of the new MSN layout.

Wow! Thank god I live in the UK! Hopefully, it will encourage people to use Windows Live more.
