FYI. It looks like the new image and video searches are more of a "North America only" situation, not US-only. No problem getting it here in Canada without using any URL or LiveID location profile hacks.

Alber as John mentions, the url we provided is only a temporary solution, hence the coming and going you are seeing.

Here in Florida, we haven't been updated but I've been using the mentioned link

search.live.com/results.aspx

However, if you perform a new search you will get the old search results page. Just make sure &form=PRESS in the url and refresh.

in ur address bar for the search is somethig saying &mkt=de

change that to &mkt=us and watch the magic. im american but all my searches when im signed in for some reason wind up as &mkt=gb so i know the change to &mkt=us works. try it.
