Yes you need to install the new build by using the installer. There is no update option, that was one of the features added to this build.

Remember to submit feedback to the team via feedback.live.com :)

bv, do you have the Active Search turned on? If you do, then you'll only have that shown on the right-hand side.. if you don't have it turned on, you will get ads.

I wish they would make a way to minimize the program to the taskbar, that way you can receive emails without having the program running, you will have it running in the background.

Liveside might be enabling forums in the near future so you'll be able to comment and reply in there in a better manner

ads are back

you guys should make a proper comment reply system :P u have the option to be emailed of replies to comments but u can't really properly reply to a comment so it's kinda redundant to have that option right now i guess :P

as for this new build, no more crashing! yeehaw. however i think the new problem is worse :(

all my newsgroups got like reset. everything i had marked watched got reset and all the messages i deleted are back and u can no longer delete topics or messages it seems.

also check this out. dunno what's causing this but reading newsgroups like this just doesn't work.

I have no ads because I have Hotmail Plus. I wouldn't think they'd voluntarily disable the revenue model for the product though!
