&lt;p&gt;When you're taking pictures the card itself will upload the photo's to the selected services (or just to your desktop computer) without connecting it to a computer.&lt;/p&gt;

More fool me. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The USB card reader with auto upload will appeal to technophobes, but it's just a gimick to be honest. &lt;/p&gt;
