They are also still working on the Windows Live Toolbar, this one is designed to provide easy access to MSN Content.

@kmturner: I could not agree more with you! Do they not think that we already have the search bar in IE7 that they do not give us the option to remove one of the two? I find it very annoying as well to see two huge blank text boxes interrupting the perfection of the surrounding area.

Does this version of toolbar allow the user to turn off the search bar? With IE7 there is already a search bar built into the browser ... I don't see a need for a SECOND search bar in the toolbar. It's actually quite annoying.

Tophtucker although I agree in principle about two toolbars, I wouldn't want any of that horrible MSN content on my toolbar!

It seems silly to be working on two toolbars at once, so rather than wishing they'd also update the WL Toolbar, I wish they would just pick one and give it all the features. Will this have Live.com integration? Custom buttons? What about those nifty smart menus based on Live Labs' entity extraction?

Silverlight is doing a lot of great stuff. Maybe they'll make one for Windows Live Toolbar.

It would be nice to see Live Toolbar get the same SilverLight touch. From the looks of it..a nice showcase of SilverLight.

Google's been doing the auto-populate thing for ages. Assuming you have live search set as default in IE 7, enter a search term. Then go to Google and magically your search team turns up in Google's drop down list of search terms. Hmm... Given their dominant position in search that's where any privacy concerns should be directed.

I wonder if that means a new Live Toolbar is coming soon with a Silverlight refresh. I like the Live Toolbar as it is, but the choice of buttons is still mediocre.
