Additionally, here’s the welcome page that you’ll see when you first install IE8:

As you can see on the welcome page, there’s two new features called WebSlices and Activities.

Yes definitely there's some element of hype to it.

Also the technical sessions will likely be diving into the details from these announcements, so pre-announcing allows attendees to make better informed choices about which sessions they should attend. At least that's how I see it.

I'm sure there will be plenty of IE to talk about at MIX. Maybe it is planned hype?

Great News!!

But... why is MS announcing all these news before Mix'08!??? Expanding its Online Services and IE8...!??

What else is going to take a bit seat at Mix'08? Silverlight 2.0 for sure..and.. and... and..!??
