A combined Microsoft/Yahoo deal could have been great if handled well.

Getting the best of Y! and WinLive together could have been a great thing.

But with the acquisition now over, I'm kinda glad MS took the safe side.

They can probably wait until Y! shares sink so low as a result of this, and then snap them right up. :)

I'm impresed that Steve B didn't overpay for Yahoo, now he's just gotta kick WL into gear. On 2nd thoughts, maybe he should have stuck with Yahoo :P
