Now it does work for me too :)

And new facebook is back too, looks like that setting is there only when using the new layout, not the old. Still have no idea why it didn't work from the start though...

It's working fine for me. And if you have WLM on Xbox set up, it'll update to say, for instance, "Toph is playing Geometry Wars 2." Pretty cool!

I'd like to see more official Microsoft apps on Facebook. An official Xbox Live app could be great...

Odd, the setting seems to have gone now for me too...the new facebook is temporarily disabled and at same time I seemed to have lost the messenger app too, I had to reinstall it . Then when I looked for the setting it's gone...

No option for the status in the settings for me. Although I'd have to turn off song updating for it, because I'm always listening to music.

(i bet Chris did) please tell me how's your feeling ? good or bad ? is there any *real* update for Windows Live Home ?, is there Windows Live Calendar client software ? i can't wait !!!! just give me more information please, more, more...don't just dancing around Messenger

my facebook status works and is showing what's displayed in messenger - provided that I don't "appear offline".

It does get annoying if you turned on the "show what I'm currently listening to" feature....as your facebook status will update each time the song updates.

status is not update through Msgr.

as i m using New WLM build .. version...
