I would imagine that inPrivate browsing would work as it intends to, not storing history information and all, but don't count on it to hide what it is you're looking at. The IT department will still be able to see what websites you're going to by looking at the traffic.

I've seen the autosuggest on multiple occaions, every once and a while at home, but when at school it always shows up. hmm

Hello,

When I open the Windows program live hotmail, I cannot reach the full version and am thus redirected towards the traditional version and once my messages posted, it is impossible for me to open them. A message in yellow in bottom of the page on the left is posted: loading in progress and then nothing, I remain blocked on this message. On the other hand I can send messages? Tested with firefox or other, even problem. What is strange it' is that I can open my messages on another PC.

Hey, firstly you shouldn't really install anything on a company pc without asking the technicians especially when it's still in beta.

secondly it all depends on the infrastructure at the company, personally i wouldn't use inprivate broswering at work

If you have an issue with Hotmail just delete cache, temp files and cookies then it should look normal

That's pretty awesome. About time. I'm really surprised that IE8 is actually getting so many features. I saw Beta 1, and thought meh.

It'd be nice to see more Windows Live/Live Search in the mix with IE8. Not just the built-in search box, and Accelerators, but also WebSlices (A glance at Hotmail inbox, anyone?), Favorites syncing, and even a new redesigned Live Toolbar.

I can't wait for the auto complete in Live Search. It'd be so useful, though I usually Live Search straight from the Toolbar.

Co-incidence that google released "Google suggest" today?

Its a very powerful feature that many have had working in "beta" format for years and years but I think Yahoo was the first to roll it into production?

Has that drop-down list feature been on Google for a while now? Or is it new? I just visited it today and since I use Live Search I don't know.
