Windows Live Photo Gallery gets new OEM partners, Sync integration, and more

Windows Live Photo Gallery from the Windows Live Essentials suite is getting some upgrades in the upcoming “Release Candidate” release too. November 2006 - OurView: The Opinion Blog

OurView - The new LiveSide opinion blog

by Chris on 25 Nov 2006, 08:43 PM with 2 comment(s) and 2,331 views

We've just started up an opinion blog to run alongside the blogs we have running already. Why? Because we feel that there are subjects we'd like to discuss in more detail and depth than we can do in our usual posts. We won't be posting here as regularly, but when we do we hope you'll find them to be conversation starters. As always you'll need to register to comment, but if you have something to say, make it heard.

The first post is up already so check it out: http://www.liveside.net/blogs/opinion/default.aspx

Note: For longer posts only excerpts will be on the front page.

When Microsoft introduced Windows Live a little more than a year ago, a couple of questions immediately popped up; what is Windows Live, exactly? and why is it different than MSN?  A year later, those questions haven't been answered.  Yes, there has been progress. A steady stream of new services has emerged, the UI has evolved, existing services are connected and complementary, and performance has improved dramatically.  Windows Live has a compelling story to tell.  Why is no one telling it?
