&lt;p&gt;I think people have a tendancy to overestimate how quickly traffic follows innovation. That's probably more true with tech saavy users and teens, but not with your typical hundred million internet users.&lt;/p&gt;

Biggest thing that will turn around the entire outlook towards Live Search, is a cool new name, something that sits on people's tongues. Zune and XBox were a step in the right direction.&lt;/p&gt;
