My theory: MSN Groups and Windows Live Groups will operate side by side (aren't some people still using the old MSN Hotmail UI?). MSN Groups groups that want to transition will be able to. Those that don't, won't have to (well maybe eventually).

Pre-made denial e-mails? That's rather sick.

I would have at least felt better if they at least didn't lie like they always do, or not sound so overly formal when it's not even real.

And Facebook is great. I love it.

But there might be an off-chance that Windows Live does something different and better from it's competition. And help their user base do even more.

Live Groups is definitely going to exist. The least MS can do is find a way to transfer old MSN Groups into the new Live Groups, without destroying everything.

Facebook = MSN Groups + Windows Live Spaces + Windows Live Events + MORE

I really want Windows live to succeed but I'm losing faith with their offerings, they are too slow to create the products and the competition has stormed into the lead. Spaces has been out 2 years and it's still as slow as hell, facebook does so much more and faster!

Wow, this is the most tension I've ever seen between Microsoft and Liveside :P

I really hope to see Windows Live Groups, but with Facebook having groups, it might be yet another pointless offering from Windows Live.

This reminds me a lot when MSN Communities transitioned into MSN Groups. A lot of people were very concerned, but in the end it turned out well.
