Firebug told me requests were made to the WL Error Reporting Service (Dr. Watson online) with "script failed to load: core.js" as error message. So I know they are monitoring it, but unfortunately there is no public way of letting users know what's happening. The live.com blog is too quiet, they blog once in every six months or so :(

Well it depends if those teams have the initiative to get somebody who blogs often and well enough to attract attention. And responds to comments when possible.

There are a lot of Microsoft employees that blog, and some quite good, but it's not like there is a good link from the official site to the employee's blog site for people 'to turn to'. It's up to those teams to make more of a community out of those products/services, than to just have a blogger.
