&lt;p&gt;I think Y! would bring better site design, some extra features, and a myriad of content, and partnerships, along with power sites like Y! Answer and Flickr to Microsoft. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I just think the price tag is compeletely dumb. I mean a $1 billion dollars could really help a lot for a poor African nation. Instead, it's just some excessive amounts to be given to guys who haven't really changed anything much.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I wonder what the comparison is if you do Google + DoubleClick versus Microsoft + Yahoo! &lt;/p&gt;
